1993 we were the first winery in Germany offering a cuveé of Pinot Blanc & Chardonnay. Since that time the wine have founded many fanciers and we sell it very successfully in the upper gastronomy.
The fruits are from different vineyard sections. The soil there is mainly loess. Pinot Blanc ist a wine with a great smoothness and complexity on the palate. Chardonnay attractives in its pure fruit flavours, mainly citrus and ananas. Blending both characters you get an excellent cuveé and food partner.
At the beginning we fermented 100% in used oak. Since 2003 we focus more to preserve the own fruit character and ferment just 25% for 6-9 months in oak.
