Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is originated from Bordeaux. Blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it is the main variety of a great red Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon is cultivated around the world and has the ability to reflect the character of different soil types. Fruits have little berries with a hard skin. The grapes are very late ripening. Cabernet Sauvignon is a very dark coloured wine with cassis and blackberry flavours combined with pepper and other spicy flavours. The wines have a high aging potential because of the their high tannins.
