Dakapo

Dakapo is a new red grape variety, a crossing of Deckrot and Blauer Portugieser. Dakapo looks like Blauer Portugieser, but is more resistant against frost and easier to cultivate. Dakapo is only used to intensify the colour of a red wine. The wine itself tastes fullbodied. In Italy “dacapo” is the name for “add-on”.
