Cabernet Dorsa

The red grape Cabernet Dorsa is a crossing from Dornfelder and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a variety created in the research center of viticulture in Weinsberg in the year 1971. The grape has little berries with a hard skin, containing a lot of dyestuffs.
Cabernet Dorsa is often blended with other red wines to intensify the colour of a wine. It can only be cultivated in warm sites.
