Cabernet Cubin

The red grape Cabernet Cubin is a crossing from Lemberger and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a variety created in the research center of viticulture in Weinsberg in the year 1970. The grape has little berries with a hard skin, producing colourful wines with intense tannins and cassis aromas. Cabernet Cubin is often blended with other red wines to intensify the colour of a wine.
