Nicely balanced and beautifully complex and creamy on the palate<br \/>\nThe minerality of the wine reflects the terroir character of the exceptional vineyard site. A very longlasting aftertaste.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WINEMAKER&#8217;S NOTE<\/strong><br \/>\nVintage 2008 offerd us, after a break in 2007, an outstanding fruit quality to vinify a Pinot Blanc SJ. Only a strict vineyard management ensures to vinify a wine of extraordinary quality. We strictly reduce the crop to one grape per shoot. Perfect ripe grapes were hand-picked and sorted. A whole cluster pressing gently removed the juice from the skins and seeds, preserving the fresh and vivid fruit flavors. 50% was fermented in stainless steel, 25% in new oak and 25% in used oak.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WINE ANALYSIS<\/strong><br \/>\nAlcohol: 13,5 % vol.<br \/>\nTotal Acidity: 6,9 g\/l<br \/>\nResidual Sugar: 1,4 g\/l<br \/>\nSugarfree Extract: 24,6 g\/l<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TASTING NOTE The nose opens with fine aromas of zitrus and ripe ananas.
