Cabernet Mitos

The red grape Cabernet Mitos is a crossing from Lemberger and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a variety created in the research center of viticulture in Weinsberg in the year 1970. The grape has little berries with a hard skin, producing colourful wines with intense tannins. Cabernet Mitos is often blended with other red wines to intensify the colour of a wine. Its taste remembers a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon.
